Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Training

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this activity is to enhance health care provider knowledge about the Office of Inspector General (OIG)'s Fraud, Waste, and Abuse laws. The goal is for the audience to apply what they learn from the training to their clinical practice in an effort to reduce and prevent fraudulent activities and enhance program integrity.

OBJECTIVES: At the conclusion of the session, the participant will be able to:

• Understand the basic fraud, waste, and abuse laws
• Know how and where to report fraud, waste, and abuse violations
• Apply fraud, waste, and abuse laws to their clinical practice
